As one of the owners of this "company", you will have a vote when it comes time to hire your next "employee". The people working for you in HR will let you know. Do you expect a candidate to provide a resume with his or her application? I do, HR will accept the applications with a resume and picture attached. There'll be a format to follow and word limits, giving everyone a fair and equal opportunity. I'll get their literature from my HR. In an interview, do you expect the candidate to trash talk the other candidates? Not me, I would like them to talk about themselves and what they will bring to the job. If they want to talk about other candidates, the stories they will tell ... considering the source and the motives behind it, I have to wonder. Do you expect candidates to come knocking on your door at home? Not me, let's leave it at the office. Stay away from my castle. Do you need to see a street sign telling you that a candidate has applied? Not if you're doing your job. You will get a list of candidates from HR, resumes too. A sign for one of them on a street corner is an insult to your intelligence. It makes you wonder what kind of an idiot they take you for. |
